Key Activities

• Getting started on BG/L
• Porting and tuning complete application codes on BlueGene
• Providing input to architecture/software groups on priorities of application needs, e.g. optimized intrinsics, mpi implementation, programming models, support libraries, i/o, visualization, performance analysis tools, debugging, etc.
• Maintaining database of application summaries/benchmarks
• Exploring application characterization/modeling

Group members will have access to frequently updated online resources and discussion groups. In addition, hands-on workshops and informational meetings will be held several times a year.
